What condition are the cards in? (raw/ungraded vs. graded, near mint standards)
- Condition of graded cards are noted on the slabs and have been examined to verify authenticity. Raw/ungraded cards are near mint unless otherwise noted (I will put any defects in the description).
What's the difference between a "hit" and a base card in a mystery pack/box?
I will not sell mystery pack/box unless they are from a manufacturer directly or through a wholesaler.
Do you offer bulk/lot discounts?
Yes, depending on the product
What's your restock schedule for popular sets?
Most of the time I will not get a restock, once they are gone they are gone.
Can I request a specific card?
People can reach out and inquire about specific cards if they are not listed on my website
Can I make an offer on a card?
Yes.
Are offers binding?
Yes.
Why can’t I make an offer on some items?
Determined by scarcity, popularity, and newness.
How do pre-orders work?
I will reach out to contacts via email/text that a new product is up for presell and list them on the website with the price. I may have a presell code for a discount for ordering. Maybe 20% MSRP. Is there a way to collect 50% down? They can cancel up until the preorder due date, which I will mention on the notification. Once past the due date, if you cancel the preorder your refund will only be for store credit. 50% is due at the time of presell order
Do you sell PSA/BGS/CGC graded cards, and how is grading verified?
Yes, I will sell them. Cards are slabbed and given a certification number by the grading company
How do you determine card condition?
That is very subjective, they have their process on their sites with disclaimers.
Are your cards authentic?
Yes, unless otherwise stated
Can you grade a card I already own?
I do not provide grading services.
What's the difference between grading companies (PSA vs. BGS vs. SGC)?
They are actually all owned by PSA now but they are all similar, but people tend to use PSA as their go to.
Do you buy/sell "raw" cards that could be sent in for grading?
Yes, but I do not guarantee how it grades.
How do you package cards to prevent bending or damage?
Cards under $99 will go into a bubble envelope with hard protection to prevent from bending. Cards over $100 will be packaged in a box with the proper packing materials
Do you ship in bubble mailers, boxes, or top loaders/screw-downs?
Cards will come in a toploader at minimum.
Is shipping insured, and what happens if a card arrives damaged?
Additional insurance is recommended for cards over $100 and is paid by the buyer. If the buyer does not pay for the coverage as a result only the insured amount will be paid out (once I submit the claim and receive payment from the carrier).
Do you require signature confirmation for high-value orders?
Yes, anything over $199 will require a signature confirmation.
What are shipping costs/times, domestic vs. international?
I will get all orders out within 2 business days of purchase. Shipping costs will be calculated. Only domestic shipping, no international.
Do you ship internationally?
No. At this time, CardCore Kai only ships domestically within the United States.
How quickly will my order ship?
Within 2 business days.
What's your return policy for opened vs. sealed product?
All Sales are Final.
Can I return a graded card if I disagree with the grade?
No. All sales are final.
What happens if I receive the wrong card or a damaged item?
Wrong card can be returned and the company will cover the cost. Damaged items will need to go through the claims system per the carrier. Buyer needs to cooperate in order to get a refund. As you know USPS usually requires for the item to be given back to them along with the box to show the damage.
Do you offer a "hit guarantee" on box breaks or packs?
Only if the manufacturer guarantees. If I do a break I will disclose any guarantees.
Can I return opened sealed products?
No. All sales are final.
Why do prices fluctuate so much on singles?
Card market, there are a lot of factors. Sports cards could be how the player or team performs. Pokemon could be the illustrator, what people desire, or playability.
Do you price-match other retailers?
No, CardCore Kai aims to be below other retailers in pricing, but we do not price match.
Do you offer payment plans for expensive singles or sealed boxes?
CardCore Kai does not specifically offer payment plans, but if you use Affirm, Klarna or a plan similar to that, you may be approved for a payment plan through that source.
Is my payment information secure?
Shop with confidence. CardCore Kai is powered by Shopify, with secure, encrypted checkout and industry-standard payment protection.
How do I track my order?
Shipping information including the tracking number and shipping provider will be provided to you at check out. You can also log into your account and check the status of your package.
What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal, Venmo, credit cards, and cash (if local pickup).
Can I cancel or modify an order after placing it?
An order can only be modified prior to being shipped out.
Do you have a loyalty or rewards program?
CardCore Kai is always looking for ways to keep our customers happy, so we are currently working on a program. We will let you know when we are ready to launch.
